360° Pilates is an immersion into the traditional Pilates method that combines live and online learning. Participants get to learn the concepts of Joe Pilates’ original work and experience the physical transformation that comes with it.
It’s a program for discerning professionals and enthusiast practitioners who wish to become fluent in the traditional Pilates method. Whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of the work in a profound and unique way, or just fully immerse yourself in the practice—360° Pilates was made for you.
360° Pilates is based on research of Joe Pilates’ original thought-process and highlights his philosophies, concepts and intentions.
While the Pilates method doesn’t need innovation, 360° Pilates is innovative in its approach to education: an exclusive video library integrates with workbooks and homework that bring the material to life well beyond the seminars. Over 400 exercises can be studied from multiple angles in streaming HD.
Pilates is more than a list of movements, and more than a number of muscles exercised—it’s a philosophy of physical culture that is as relevant today as it was at the method’s time of conception.
Whichever style of Pilates you currently practice or teach—there is tons to be learned from looking at this work both through the lens of its original intentions and the perspective of modern movement training principles.
It’s true, you can’t learn Pilates online. But, you can learn a whole lot about it online. 360° Pilates separates what is best learned in a live seminar setting from what is best explored in a self-paced manner. Combine the two and you will, in fact, learn more!
Enroll in this unique education opportunity to discover Pilates anew and to bring this incredible work to life for yourself and your students.

Benjamin Degenhardt is the founder of 360° Pilates, which he developed based on his research of the original Pilates method. When he is not in a Twist on the Reformer, he most likely is either teaching it to someone or breaking it down during a 360° Pilates seminar.
Benny Olk has assisted Benjamin since 2015. He is the nimble body that demonstrates during seminars and the friendly face in charge of communications. When he is not on the Long Box, he is probably rehearsing or performing on the dance stages of the world.
Joana Matos not only knows the Pilates method in and out, she catalogued the 360° Pilates syllabus for the online platform and our upcoming Pilates Metrics app. When she is not taking flight in Swan on the Barrel, she is most likely to be found wherever there is inspired music and dance.
360° Pilates consists of three modules. Each module includes a seminar weekend and 6 weeks of structured and remotely guided homework.
The seminar weekends are approximately 8 weeks apart. Upon completion of the course, there is an option to complete a case study assignment to become part of the growing 360° Pilates tribe and take advantage of all future updates to the 360° Pilates offerings.
360° Pilates is Pilates Method Alliance-approved continuing education coursework. Participation in the program grants 75 CECs altogether which can be petitioned towards any legitimate certification program.
The short answer: No.
The long answer: 360° Pilates works like a language immersion. For the duration of the course, participants live and breathe the work and engage with it in a hybrid of live and online/remote learning. The program allows practitioners—teachers and students alike—to fully understand and embrace the traditional Pilates method and its underlying concepts, and manifest their new understanding as they work their way through the 360° Pilates workbooks.
While it is not a certification, the program works great for those who wish to enroll in a certification program but don’t feel ready for lack of exposure to the full method — or simply want to get a head start.
The program’s modules are designed to be taken together and in order, but may be taken individually as continuing education coursework. Note that individual module registration only becomes available for remaining open slots four weeks prior to seminars—spaces cannot be guaranteed.
The seminars will be offered at a maximum of five locations per year. Keep an eye on the education calendar for updated dates and host sites.

Ok, ok, here you go.
The video library is a study tool specific to the program and will remain exclusively available to trainees enrolled in 360° Pilates. That said, a remote learning path will launch in late 2017.
