360° Pilates is an immersion into the traditional Pilates method that combines live and online learning. Participants get to learn the concepts of Joe Pilates’ original work and experience the physical transformation that comes with it.
It’s a program for discerning professionals and enthusiast practitioners who wish to become fluent in the traditional Pilates method. Whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of the work in a profound and unique way, or just fully immerse yourself in the practice—360° Pilates was made for you.
Looking one generation further back than any other Pilates program, 360° Pilates is based on extensive historical research of Joe Pilates’ original method and highlights his philosophies, concepts and intentions.
While the traditional method doesn’t need innovation, 360° Pilates is innovative in its approach to education: an exclusive video library integrates with workbooks and homework that bring the material to life well beyond the seminars.
It’s true, you can’t learn Pilates online. But, you can learn a whole lot about it online. 360° Pilates separates what is best learned in a live seminar setting from what is best explored in a self-paced manner. Combine the two and you will, in fact, learn more!
The best learning environment is a room full of people determined to find answers to the same questions. 360° Pilates brings such people together and provides the tools to find the answers.

360° Pilates consists of three training levels, each of which consists of a weekend seminar and 2 months of a remotely guided self-practice.
Altogether the program takes approximately 6-8 months to complete, with the option to test out at the end and join a growing global network of 360° Pilates-Trained Teachers and Practitioners.
Think of 360° Pilates as a “Practice Training program” that works like a language immersion. For the duration of the course, participants live and breathe the work and engage with it in a hybrid of live and online learning. The program allows practitioners—teachers and students alike—to fully understand and embrace the traditional Pilates method and its underlying concepts, and experience the physical transformation that comes with it.
It is suitable for trained teachers who wish to grow in their practice and/or professional development, as well as advanced students of the work who wish to fully understand this extraordinary method and perhaps prepare for certification.
While 360° Pilates is not a certification program, mentorship towards certification (which includes additional sessions and apprentice hours) is available in New York City only.

The levels are designed to be taken together and in order, but can be taken individually as continuing education coursework. An assessment interview is necessary to access Levels II or III without prior completion of Level I. Note that individual level registration only becomes available for remaining open slots a month prior to seminars—spaces cannot be waitlisted or guaranteed.
For continuity’s sake, priority is given to applicants that can complete the program in one location. The option to mix and match only becomes available one month prior to your chosen first level seminar (see previous question). In order to qualify for package pricing, all three levels must be scheduled in order and at time of registration.
The program will run a maximum of four times per year. Currently, the program is offered in Asia, Europe, and North America, but locations will vary from year to year. Keep an eye on the education calendar for updated dates and host sites.
Well, here you go! The entire traditional syllabus is captured from a teachers-eye-view and multiple angles to showcase movements the way they look in real life. Here is an introduction to Swandive on the Reformer, as an example.
The video library is a study tool specific to the program and will remain exclusively available to trainees enrolled in 360° Pilates.
